Life Coaching


Coaching assists individuals in achieving improved performance.  Thus, life coaching assists clients with setting and reaching their personal, family, professional, and wellness goals.  In essence, coaching is about growth, development, improvement, and self-empowerment.  Coaching can assist individuals with, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Gain a sense of clarity about your overall vision for your life
  • Assess your current status in 7 major life areas: 
    1.         - Health and wellness (physical and emotional)
    2.         - Family and relationships
    3.         - Career, profession, and finances
    4.         - Education and mental development
    5.         - Spiritual growth, ethics, and religion
    6.         - Civic, social, and cultural endeavors
    7.         - Leisure and recreation
  • Learn how to set specific, measurable goals
  • Learn strategies and specific action steps for goal attainment
  • Improve on current skills; learn new things
  • Take on new projects or learn to let go of things that are no longer serving you
  • Improve problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Improve communication skills and relationships at home and in the workplace
  • Understand your personal values and how this can impact decisions and goals
  • Develop peak performance at work and home
  • Create, embrace, and reinforce, rather than fear, change
  • Deal with problem issues
  • During the coaching sessions, a determination as to which areas the client wants to work on will be made.  Then, the coach and client will collaborate to determine and measure strategies for reaching the goals in the selected areas.  All coaching sessions are confidential; however, coaching is not counseling or therapy.  Coaching is about improved performance and increased self-empowerment.  Sessions usually last for 45-60 minutes, and it is recommended that clients plan to participate in approximately 4 to 6 sessions.
